  You can fiddle with the camera options, but it never feels as smooth as Super Meat Boy, nor does the gameplay. I got it for $1 because I wanted to relive the challenging platformer experience, but not going to happen with this one. If you want an easier Super Meat Boy then the fact that your corpses from previous deaths can be used as blocks to negate the dangers of spikes and traps, well, here you go. Still not a smooth technical experience. Frame rate is locked during gameplay so don't try taking it there, it just doesn't play as smooth.. This game is something of a mixed bag. It's a Super Meat Boy clone, but the ability to use your body as a platform (after you've died) differentiates it from that title. I really enjoyed the art style, but most of the music is so annoying or awful that I ended up turning it off. Also on some levels the screen jumping around gets so bad it can make one queasy. It's not the worst game in the world, but if you haven't played Super Meat Boy, play that instead.. The game tries very hard to be Super Meat Boy but it totally lacks the fluid controls that game had. The controls feel heavy and clunky at times.
  
  It's saving grace is the corpse feature, which allows you to use your previous fails to your advantage.
  
  It's still infuriatingly hard but for all those hard-core platform game lovers out there, this will definitely give you your daily difficulty fix.
  
  For people who do not enjoy retrying each level 75+ times, you can still have fun with this. Eventually you will stack enough bear corpses everywhere, that you can basically walk to the finish :D.. This game will kick your butt up and down. The more deaths you have usually the better off you are (bodies can help you or hurt you). The developers had streamer, speed runner, and gamer in mind. It has all the options for speed running and twitch streaming as you can put chat integration! The art is simply amazing and the music can get repetitive at times but EDM or any other music can go well with the grind.
  
  The developers did a good job on this one!. This is a solid platformer.
  + The corpse mechanic works really well. If you're not a fan of hardcore platformers you can still beat and enjoy the game.
  + Each world brings new features, and every level feels entirely different.

  Some nitpicking
  - The startup sound is way too loud, be warned
  - You can only check leaderboards on the level complete screen. So if you want to check out the leaderboards (again) you first have to beat a level.. Super Rude Bear Resurrection is a hardcore 2D platformer with a twist - every time you die, your corpse is left behind and can often be used as a buffer to bypass obstacles. So, levels only become easier the more and more you die.
  
  It's a clever way to give almost anyone a chance of beating the game. That said, this game has a lot to offer to a veteran platform player looking for a challenge as well.
  
  First of all, cast aside the idea that the corpses make things too easy, as this game is TOUGH!
  
  The controls take a bit to get used to, but they are extremely tight. When you begin to master the controls, you can pull off spectacular moves in the game, a good attribute of any platformer.
  
  To go hand in hand with that, the level design is excellent, and pushes your skills in new and interesting ways all the time.
  
  There are lots of hidden items throughout the game which unlock bonus stages, which are well worth pursuing as the bonus stages are every bit as good as the normal stages.
  
  Throw in multiple difficulty levels, boss rush, training mode, leaderboards, sltreaming mode and this is a top-notch platformer with value and longetivity!. It has one cool mechanic, being able to use your dead bodies as platforms is a neat idea, even though it makes the game really easy since you have no lives to worry about. You can just fill all the hazard pits with bodies and walk through no problem. That, combined with the god-awful attempts at being edgy and hip just push this game straight into the danger zone. Your companion never shuts up and routinely spouts memes which both instantly dates the game, and ups the annoying factor by eleven. The game had potential, it controls well, and feels like a competent meat boy clone that tried some new ideas and fell flat. I can't recommend this one.. The camera in this game was giving me a headache by the end of the tutorial. You are able to turn off some things, but the camera still does a lot of stuff like quickly zooming in and out on your dead body whenever you die, which is often. Even with all the "fancy" camera stuff off, I wasn't able to finish the next level without just feeling awful. The controls don't feel that good and it just leaves you wishing you could control a little better, like most other games in this genre.
  
  I enjoy platformers and really wanted to like this game, but I really couldn't bring myself to enjoy it and continue playing.. Great game, good and interesting mechanics and a very solid implemntation on the platforming side. The game is hard but the challenge is worth it.
  
  A unique theme and setting which you don'y see often nowadays.
  
  It's unique mechanic is that you can use the corpses to progress through the levels. It's interesting and if you place them juuuust right it can make your life so much easier for you.
  
  Is it fun ? Yes , yes it is.
  
  Should you BUY it? Yes, it's well put together and it's good fun if you are into platformers and want to play something with a different aesthetic to the ususal.. It's hard but well crafted. I blasted through it until world 3 and got kinda bored at the difficulty. (deaths were less helpful, even a hinderance) ended up beating it next time i launched it.
  
  A bit buggy, levels wouldn't load occasionally, took about 3~ hours to beat, mostly brute force.
  
  I wouldn't call it a meat boy clone, but i can see where people get dizzy from the tilt/fade effects. (you can aparently turn them off.)

This developer is a very good instructor in most cases. He is in depth and concise most of the time and takes time to explain a bit outside of the subject so you do have to pay attention. Well worth the money to keep him in business. 10\/10 but there are a couple things you do need to do.
1) keep a finger on the pause key because I think he is on speed when he types and I can't see what the heck he is doing sometimes.
2) He uses script for everything so some of the shortcuts that you could use will have to be learned by you on your own. I personally don't mind this as this is what I need brushing up on but others might find this tedious so just pause and read up the unity manual at those points.
Otherwise a great tutorial and well worth the bucks and time. I would recommend you just watch hime go through ALL the videos first then go with his instructions the second time around, that way it is eeasier to learn what he is doing and you can be faster on the pause and back up for the vids, believe me you will wear them out lol.. Brilliant. This system is the CORRECT way to make a FPS system with Unity. Highly recommended. I come from a development background of many years experience. These tutorials are excellent for no experience AND those of us with many years of game development experience. I rarely post reviews, but feel it is warranted because the quality of these tutorials and the system has blown me away.

Furthermore, it's worth far more than the asking price. As others have mentioned, there are other guides that cost much more and don't deliver. The professionalism behind GTGD S3 makes it stand out. If GTGD S3 had a marketing department, it would easily be selling hundreds\/thousands a month.

Having direct access to the original scripts has allowed me to save heaps of time with the debugging process. This alone is worth the cost, because even an hour of my time is far more expensive than the price of this package. The videos are available for free on Youtube, so the real value is having access to the scripts for ease of debugging.

I could go on, but for brevity will keep it brief.

If you want to learn how to make a stable, reliable, and efficient FPS system with Unity, this is a MUST-have.. I\u2019m a old school programmer (like from the 80\u2019s) but more of a web developer script monkey these days and like many trying to get into games using Unity3D

I learn best from examples, especially videos. I\u2019ve got Gigabytes of Youtube tutorials I\u2019ve downloaded over time.

GTGD S3 is the best, the pacing of the video is excellent, clear concise dialogue and excellent examples.

If you want to learn how to make a game in Unity this is exactly what you need.

If this had been over \u00a3100 I would still have bought it, that\u2019s how good it is.. Good training with the scripts, and not fast so you don't get lost. I have many Unity books that don't go to the point of my learning needs, GTGD is raycasting all the points I need. Maybe some exclusive videos for Steam supporters could be a plus+. Thanks.   Honestly, it's dead. But if you can find a discord\/group for the game on here, you can definitely find some very nice people to play with. The story is pretty good, but only lasted me a night before I played it completely though.. I don't know how to write good reviews so take this with a grain of salt. Also, I enjoy the Black Clover series but that doesn't really affect what I think about the game.
  
  The game is fun in both single and multiplayer but with the current seeminly lack of players there isn't much multiplayer action happening anyway. There is a story mode which is different to the story in the anime and manga and is still fairly enjoyable to play through. I didn't really like being locked as Asta throughout the story but it makes sense for them to do so.
  
  The variation in the characters is quite strong and no one feels like another (well with the exception of Yami and Young Yami) whic makes everyone differnet to play with and against. I play Gauche and Charmy the most atm since I really like how they play. With the little that I have played of the game there doesn't seem to be too many balancing issues but Fana might be a little strong compared to the others, especially the healers.
  
  I don't know if they are adding more characters in the future but some more additions would be nice.
  
  Ultimately, I would reccomend this game. I think that once people catch wind of this and more pepople start to play, the queues will obviously shorten and we all get to play more.
  
  Thanks for reading my awful review of this game.. Though it was expensive I LOVED this game. It is a lot like Overwatch and both story and battle modes are fun. I wish more people played it because nobody is in the queue so I could not play online. Overall, great game.. Really good game, especially for the first game in the franchise.

  Can't wait to see the first DLC characters.. Let me start with this,
  I dislike the black clover franchise in general.
  But this game is the one good tally for any of it in my book.
  
  4 v 4 objective-based throw downs where characters have a host of specific ways they fight or work together with their team in general, and you can further unlock diffrent "classes" that each character can sort of specialize in, and the unlock time for any given character's augments/decks is rather fast and effortless and gives you some rather simple but welcome customization. The single player offers up both a story mode to play through and optional objectives to replay missions for to unlock new flair and extra in-game money, along with a "challenge" mode that is just there to learn how each character works and rewarding you afterwards.
  
  While I have had some technical issues during multiplayer (anti-cheat not authorizing, networking errors) they've mainly only occured outside of matches, in-game I've had a very solid experience. Game also supports bots for online lobbies should they not fill up fast enough, and bots sometimes manage to pose more of a challenge than some human players.
  
  As cursed as the black clover franchise seems, it's a kick in the teeth that something legitimately good should come out of it only to get "released to die" by the publisher with minimum marketing and fanfare. They've made a fun game, albeit maybe not entirely unique but rather diffrent enough to be recognized as it's own style. It's not the most incredible game in the world - no, but it's very entertaining despite it's origin.

What it pisses me off it's not the fact that is only 1 mp3 file that last long less than two minutes, actually the theme is really good (but it ends abruptly), it pisses me off the fact that the Developers just put the theme on the folder and that's it, not even the Steam's music player recognizes the theme.

I have to manually create a new folder named "Sleeping Valley OST" with the mp3 file inside, that way the music player recognizes the theme.

What I ask for is just take a little care about the overall presentation of the product you sell to your costumers, because it's really a shame what you're offering.

About This Game

Soulblight is a dark, unforgiving, top-down action roguelike luring you to cross the thin line between good and evil. Instead of XP grinding, it introduces a Tainting Mechanics. While traveling through the shattered reality of the Sanctuary, you will receive personality traits based on your choices. These will be the main source of your strength. To harness them, you will have to act accordingly. Becoming an alcoholic means that you will be rewarded for getting drunk, but from that point being sober might prove to be unbearable.

Gameplay

The Idea Behind Soulblight

We look back with nostalgia at our pen and paper RPG memories. Back then, gaining XP and leveling up was only part of the fun. The thing we were most excited about was actual role-playing. For a brief moment becoming a character with all their merits but also with all their flaws. Sometimes their shortcomings would stand in the way of solving a quest at hand making the game more difficult. But because of that the characters felt more alive and that’s why we wouldn’t have it any other way.




The situation with video games is different. For the most part players can’t miss an opportunity to get precious loot or XP knowing that the game will penalize them for it. That’s why no one expect players not to fight a giant spider just because their character might have arachnophobia. It's addictive and has a dark souls vibe to it. I really enjoy the game. Lots of different play styles through the use of traits that you develop on your run.

My best run so far 4 levels deep, as a Gluttonous, hypochondriac, spear man. Every wound I got would made me overall less powerful till i cured it and every time i ate some food I grew stronger. With a spear, stealth, and a pocket full of my pets that befriended me to snack on, I made it pretty far.

You can stash 2 items per run as far as i can see, I always choose gold. Gold can buy you stuff before you start your run. I chose to spend $21 on a amulet of the bunny god, I can pray to it on my next run. Not sure what it does, but I think its a good thing!

Oh yea, Monthly leader boards with prize giveaways, as of last update. Not sure if that is still a thing. But the monthly and overall scores are there. So far only one person has won %100.

Anyways try the demo out first or dive in and if you don't like it then refund it. Takes about 4-5 runs before everything starts to click, what seems weird and shallow at first comes to life the more you play, unlocking many different aspects of play and mechanics.. It's addictive and has a dark souls vibe to it. I really enjoy the game. Lots of different play styles through the use of traits that you develop on your run.

My best run so far 4 levels deep, as a Gluttonous, hypochondriac, spear man. Every wound I got would made me overall less powerful till i cured it and every time i ate some food I grew stronger. With a spear, stealth, and a pocket full of my pets that befriended me to snack on, I made it pretty far.

You can stash 2 items per run as far as i can see, I always choose gold. Gold can buy you stuff before you start your run. I chose to spend $21 on a amulet of the bunny god, I can pray to it on my next run. Not sure what it does, but I think its a good thing!

Oh yea, Monthly leader boards with prize giveaways, as of last update. Not sure if that is still a thing. But the monthly and overall scores are there. So far only one person has won %100.

Anyways try the demo out first or dive in and if you don't like it then refund it. Takes about 4-5 runs before everything starts to click, what seems weird and shallow at first comes to life the more you play, unlocking many different aspects of play and mechanics..
